Inflow/Infiltration Inspections
Effective May 1, 2014, Clear Creek Conservancy District requires an Inflow/Infiltration inspection prior to sale of a home in the Heritage Lake subdivision. An I/I Certificate will be issued upon submission of the district’s sanitary sewer inspection form. The form must be completed by a licensed plumber or the district’s approved inspector. Once the inspection form certifying no sump pumps, roof drains, tile drains, ground source heat pumps, swimming pools or other illegal connections to the sewer exists and that customer’s sewer lines are properly installed and maintained, a Certificate of Compliance will be issued. Inspection forms are available below. Completed forms can be emailed to the district at [email protected] or mailed to Clear Creek Conservancy District, PO Box 286, Greencastle, Indiana 46135. If you have any questions please contact the district at 765-246-6585.
Failure to complete the inspection prior to the sale will result in a $271.75 charge to the home buyer and buyer will be responsible for any defects found. Once issued, a Certificate of Compliance is valid for the home for 2 years.
